Club London
|
So when we moved to the new ground me and two mates decided to upgrade from band 3 tickets to club London tickets. Held season tickets for 20 years.
We had to pay for three years £2016 per season and then £500 to be a member.
Now three years on we want to move to another area in the ground. However it seems we are not allowed to do so and only have two options:
A) Renew club London for £2400 per season plus the membership fee B) start from scratch at the back of the waiting list.
Club London is not value for money and we want out but also want to renew in say band 4.
Is anyone else going through this as I’m gobsmacked I may not be even able to go next year after 24 years holding a season ticket.

If you’re happy bank rolling the SPIVS.Suck it up and pay. Otherwise wait until they sell up. Then go back.

There isn’t a waiting list so you should be fine.

Cunty move by the club. I’d be tempted to just chuck it in if they pull this. You should be treated the same as any other ST holder.
That aside, any tips for tomorrow?
Or why not do one of those double your money betting things where you start with 10p and end up losing a grand on the toss of a coin. I used to enjoy those.

I will challenge it.
Just had twins as well so no chance I can afford those prices.
As for the betting Cheltenham is impossible.
Tonight do every championship game to be over 1.5 goals in an Acca.

Club London meant to offer free drinks, nice food, good views, padded seats, first dibs on concerts.
In reality it offers. Queues for the toilet, one free drink at half time which you can’t get as the queue is so long, padded seats but no roof so you get soaked, shit low level views
It’s not worth a grand let along three

By the sound of that I can’t imagine why anyone would want to renew at those prices.

I get all that for 30 quid a game (bar the free drink) although there’s usually one waiting for me at the party decks, from a mate, and I’m not even a member, let alone a ST holder.

I was in the West Lower - row G , when we had our appointment to select seats we were offered seats in row 60 something, I was away on business, another friend was on holiday and the othEr option was to pay an additional £200+ million to move to row 41. West Ham fucked up by allocating seats and options for people that were sitting higher up in the stand - i.e. Those paying less for their STs before those paying more with no consideration for how long you had an ST. Compared to a lot a of my friends I'm a newbie having had an ST since 1999 - the owners don't give a fuck about loyalty. £1,200 for a season ticket that gives you a padded seat and a free programme may be cheaper than other teams, but it grates me that when we moved the seat allocation was so fucked up - they basically knew that those of us that sat lower would probably spend the extra to get nearer the pitch.
My original ST was row C but they moved us to accommodate the deaf people......fair enough if it helped themI ain't got a problem with accommodating others for their benefit- but to then have to pay extra due to the incompetence of the dildo boys incompetent planning twats is outrageous.
